Executive Biographies
Mogens Elsberg, CoB
A 29-year veteran of the IT industry, Mogens Elsberg became the CEO of Pensio in December 2008. Prior to joining Pensio, Mogens Elsberg headed for four years the Microsoft Dynamics ERP strategy globally. In august 2009, Mogens became Chairman of the board, and was succeeded by Christian Rasmussen as CEO.
He began his career with IBM and went on to hold senior management positions at IBM including head of IBM Global Services and Financial Services Sector, Nordic Region. In 2000 he joined Aston Business Solutions as their CEO and completed a successful restructuring of the company. Turnaround completed, Aston Business Solutions was acquired by Tectura.
Elsberg serves on the board of directors of Inventure Capital and LD Equity. He holds a master degree in Engineering from Denmark Technical University and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Copenhagen Business School.
Christian Rasmussen, CEO
Christian was appointed CEO of Pensio in August 2009. Prior to joining Pensio, Christian Rasmussen held several executive positions in leading global and European IT and Software companies, including Hewlett Packard, Siebel Systems, BasWare and Ibistic Technologies.
Christian serves as Chairman of the Board of Inndevelop Technologies and holds a master degree in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.
Jesper Beyer-Clausen, COO
Jesper Beyer-Clausen was born in 1957. He is a pioneer in online payments in Europe. He started in the advertising business and was part of the team starting the first commercial TV station in Scandinavia - TV3 by Kinnevik.
Following successful introduction of TV3 in the market, Jesper Beyer-Clausen was offered a job as Managing Director at a leading Scandinavian media-agency. In 1998, Jesper Beyer-Clausen was asked to take a position as Geschäfts Fürer in Hamburg, Germany for Emprise Ecommerce Services offering e-commerce services in Germany and the rest of Europe. In this position he worked together with PBS, Citibank and NatWest/Streamline and other leading banks in Europe.
After 5 years he was asked by Royal Bank of Scotland /Bibit/WorldPay Streamline, to lead the Business Development team in Europe which he did for 6 years improving the revenue and result by an order of magnitude.
